Small Group First Grade Math
Who is this for?
This class is designed for homeschool kindergarten students who are ready to develop a strong mathematical foundation through hands-on exploration, guided practice, and individualized support in a small-group setting.
What will students learn?
Students will build strong mathematical understanding through engaging, Florida B.E.S.T.-aligned lessons focused on place value, counting and comparing numbers, addition and subtraction, measurement, time, money, data, and geometry. Students will develop fluency with addition and subtraction facts, work with numbers to 100 and 120, explore tens and ones, compose and decompose numbers, solve real-world problems, and identify and work with shapes and their attributes. Instruction uses manipulatives, games, visual models, and multisensory activities to help students develop mathematical reasoning, confidence, and independence while building the skills needed for continued success.

Small Group Kinder Reading and Math
Who is this for?
Homeschool learners in Kinder who benefit from small-group instruction, hands-on learning, and individualized support.
What will students learn?
Kindergarten Reading & Math
Students will build foundational reading and math skills through engaging, Florida B.E.S.T.-aligned lessons that develop phonemic awareness, phonics, letter and sound recognition, decoding, early reading and writing skills, along with counting, number recognition, number relationships, composing and decomposing numbers, comparing quantities, patterns, sorting, measurement, shapes, and early addition and subtraction concepts. Instruction uses manipulatives, games, and multisensory activities to help children develop mathematical and literacy skills, confidence, and a strong foundation for future learning.
